Edgar Cayce’s Ipsab Formula
(Pronounced: I-O-Zan)
Just rub it on your gums and rinse. Some use it as a liquid toothpaste. This well known Cayce formula for your gums can also be used as a natural mouthwash when diluted. It contains the American Indian “toothache bark”, sodium chloride, calcium chloride, iodine, grain alcohol, and peppermint oil. Use along with your daily brushing, flossing, and professional dental checkups, to keep your mouth and gums fresh and healthy. Kathy Baar a registered dental hygienist, graduate of University of Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene School has used Ioxan™ Herbal Gum Massage extensively with her patients and reports, “I have found this to be the one of the best natural products for inflammation of the gums.”
In many cases Cayce suggested it simply for general upkeep of the teeth and gums:
“Using, then for the teeth and gums, to strengthen same, those properties as found in that combination… as has been given for such conditions through these forces.” (Cayce)
“If the solution [Ioxan] is used to massage the gums occasionally, it will make for a STRENGTHENING of the areas and a preserving of their usefulness. Once or twice a week this would be thoroughly massaged into the gums, and will make a great deal of change in the gums and the teeth. Do that.” (Cayce)
“Do use [Ioxan] as a massage for the gums and it will make a great deal of difference with the teeth, the breath and the general activity.” (Cayce)
“We would use same [Ioxan] not upon cotton, for this body, but upon the finger use it and massage; not only the gums where the teeth are but where they are not! And we will find that the stimulation to the activities of the throat itself, to the salivary glands, to even the tonsil area, will be materially aided by the activity of the combination of the calcium with the iodine in same, as well as the antiseptics that arise from the vegetable forces in same as combined with sodium chloride.” (Cayce)

Thank you,
Kind regards,

Is the current item named Ioxan the identical formula as the previous product Ipsab which I have previously used very successfully over the years? Thank you,

Hi Margaret,
The Ioxan available at Baar.com is identical to Edgar Cayce’s original Ipsab formula. However, the product that Heritage Store was calling “Ipsab” was actually diluted compared to the original Cayce formula, so if that’s the version you’re used to, you may find Ioxan to be a fair bit stronger.
