One of our correspondents, who has been an active A.R.E. member for many years, wrote about his experience with castor oil packs as an adjunct to childbirth. He reports that his wife “used the castor oil packs during labor with our second child, and she very strongly feels that it was responsible for the brief delivery – four hours as opposed to twenty-seven hours labor with our first child. Furthermore, we have given the newborn castor oil rubs daily and find her to be a most remarkable baby in her disposition and also very alert.”
